For over twenty years Santhana Krishnan has painted the doors of India — thresholds worn by hands, weather and time. His Wooden Door series renders the same doorway in mixed media on wood, each colourway a different personality and mood, and each work unique.

Imagined worlds in hand-finished limited editions: an underwater garden where whale sharks, seahorses and octopuses drift between striped stems, and a field of luminous blue where cacti stand in patterned vessels. Each giclée print and canvas is embellished by the artist, so no two are alike.
