Lohit Krishna is a digital artist whose kaleidoscopic compositions draw on mythology, architecture, cinema and cultural symbolism, rebuilding these references through symmetry, repetition and layered digital construction.
His path into art began under the guidance of his father — the artist K.R. Santhana Krishnan, also represented by Ivory & Ink — who introduced him to painting and took him regularly to galleries, shaping an early instinct for how viewpoint, rhythm and light can transform the meaning of an image.
That instinct led him toward animation and visual effects, first through Photoshop and later into 3D modelling, texturing and lighting in Blender — skills he continues to develop through his ongoing studies in Animation and Visual Graphics. For Lohit, digital technology is not simply a means of production but a contemporary artistic medium, one through which traditional references, personal memory and imagined worlds can meet.
Each work is built through digital painting, reflection and kaleidoscopic structure — a visual language he uses to create rhythm and balance while revealing unexpected relationships between colour, form and meaning. The result is a body of work that feels vibrant and immediate, while retaining the depth and material presence of a considered, hand-guided practice.
