The story
Flirting With the Current is about taking risks — choosing movement over certainty and allowing yourself to be pulled towards something unknown.
The current becomes a metaphor for the forces we cannot completely control. Rather than resisting them, the work explores what can happen when we move with them: trusting instinct, accepting uncertainty and seeing where the risk might take us.
Supplied with a serialised Ivory & Ink certificate of authenticity and framed in the UK by a Guild Certified framer.
A radiant goldfish glides through Isma's fantastical underwater garden, its flowing fins tracing elegant paths between striped tendrils and delicate botanical forms. Suspended between movement and stillness, the creature appears to surrender to the rhythm of the water while maintaining its own quiet sense of purpose.
