The story
Eight Ways to Hold You explores love as something much wider than romance. It considers eight forms of love: romantic love, familial love, friendship, self-love, protective love, compassionate love, enduring love, and the quiet love of simply showing up.
The work is about the many ways we are carried by other people — and the ways we learn to hold ourselves — through tenderness, loyalty, presence and care.
Supplied with a serialised Ivory & Ink certificate of authenticity and framed in the UK by a Guild Certified framer.
A deep violet octopus curls through Isma's imagined underwater garden, its flowing tentacles weaving between striped stems and delicate botanical forms. Both elegant and mysterious, the creature seems to embrace the world around it, blurring the boundary between movement and stillness.
