Ivory & Ink Fine Art

We exist to change the story of South Asian art in the Western world.

Founded in London in 2026, Ivory & Ink Fine Art is a contemporary gallery dedicated to representing artists whose work is rooted in the rich cultural traditions of the Asian subcontinent — bringing exceptional South Asian talent to collectors and audiences across the UK, Europe, and internationally.

We believe South Asian contemporary art is at a cultural inflection point. The artists we represent carry narratives that are urgent, visually compelling, and long overdue on the world stage. Our role is to place those artists — and those stories — in front of the collectors, institutions, and audiences who will value them most.

What We Do

We work with a carefully curated roster of artists across painting, mixed-media, print, and metal art. Through artist representation, fine art print editions, and exhibition at leading international art fairs, we build long-term relationships between our artists and a global collector base.

We exhibit at Art Fairs — bringing South Asian contemporary art to the world's most dynamic collector markets.

A Note from the Founders

For much of our lives we followed the path expected of us: work hard, achieve academically, build a stable career. Building something of our own was never the obvious choice — yet a quieter ambition never left us: to create something meaningful and lasting.

The answer revealed itself through art. Travelling across the UK and India, meeting artists and visiting galleries, we found extraordinary contemporary South Asian talent that remained largely unseen on the global stage — artists whose skill and discipline we couldn't reconcile with how creative careers are so often regarded within our own communities.

That became the foundation of Ivory & Ink: a global platform for exceptional South Asian artists, and a home for collectors who want work that carries real cultural depth.

Our role goes beyond selling art. We support the artists we represent — from conservation and presentation standards to international exposure — and we've been investing in emerging talent since long before our first exhibition.

Watching our own children take an interest in where they came from reminded us that culture only endures when people choose to keep it alive. We believe art is one of the most powerful ways of doing that — and that collecting should always be personal, led by the heart as much as the eye.

Hareesh Kallambella

I spent 22 years in luxury manufacturing before moving into fine art, most recently as Operations Director for one of Europe's largest gallery groups, working with over 250 artists across the UK, Europe and the US. That background shaped how I think about art: not just as something to sell, but something to protect, through proper conservation, presentation and long-term stewardship.

Ivory & Ink exists because I saw exceptional South Asian artists who deserved that same standard of care and global reach, and weren't getting it. My focus is making sure every piece we represent — and every artist behind it — is treated with the craftsmanship and respect they've earned.

Trupti Kallambella

My background is in marketing and finance, and it's given me a clear-eyed view of what it actually takes to build something that lasts — discipline, structure, and the willingness to do things properly even when it's slower.

Ivory & Ink began as a shared conviction with Hareesh: that remarkable South Asian art deserved a genuine platform, not a workaround. My focus is on the commercial backbone of the gallery — making sure the ambition we have for our artists is matched by the systems and judgement to support it, and that everything we do is grounded in doing right by the people we work with, artists and collectors alike.
