Dr. Satish is a wildlife photographer and consultant physician whose images emerge from the same discipline that defines his medical practice: close, patient observation.
His fascination with the natural world began in childhood, and crystallised on a visit to an Indian forest in 1999 — an encounter that revealed stillness not as an absence of life, but as its fullest expression. The camera became his means of sharing that discovery.
Working under the name WildDoc, his photography has been recognised by National Geographic Your Shot and Sony BBC Earth. Alongside his practice, he runs medical camps for forest department personnel and supports the families of those who protect these habitats, treating conservation as inseparable from the human lives that sustain it.
“The forest doesn’t care what my profession is,” he reflects. “Out there, I’m simply a student of patience, light, and life.”
