The story
Shell Shocked explores the experience of moving through the world with an instinctive sense of openness, only to be repeatedly confronted by its harsher realities.
The shell becomes both refuge and boundary — a place of protection for something still soft at the centre. The work sits in that space between innocence and awareness, asking what it takes to stay sensitive without becoming hardened.
Supplied with a serialised Ivory & Ink certificate of authenticity and framed in the UK by a Guild Certified framer.
The nautilus becomes the centrepiece of a dreamlike underwater garden where fantasy and nature intertwine. Its intricate shell, marked by rhythmic bands and elegant curves, echoes the visual language that runs throughout the Underwater Love series.
